Orimoto Mimana’s Chinese works include Magical Meow Meow Taruto and Maid in Japan, and he is currently working on the magna series Bakuon!!, which is about a freshman senior high school female student named Sakura Hane, who finds the slopes on the way to her school incredibly challenging and consequently becomes interested in riding motorcycle. In 2019, Orimoto was invited to Taiwan and joined Taiwanese comic artists in a motorcycle tour around the island, which became the theme of Bakuon!! Taiwan Edition.
