Ando Hideyuki holds a PhD in Information Science and Engineering from Tokyo University. He became a professor at the Graduate School for Information Science and Technology, Osaka University as well as a professor of Art Science at the Department of Fine Arts, Osaka University of Arts in 2020. His research focuses on “interfaces built upon human sensory misperception,” “virtual reality,” “senses-perception-movement interface” and “information science and technology for wellbeing enhancement.” In addition, he has also endeavored in applying advanced scientific technology to artistic expression while developing his creative work.
