Kao Yung began creating comics as a high school student. In 1987, he launched his career with his debut work Burning Dreams. In 2005, he became the president of the Taipei Comic Artist Labor Union. He is the recipient of the Golden Tripod Award and the Golden Comic Awards, and has never stopped producing comics until today. His work is known for its elegant connotation and elegant stories, which perfectly balance depth and exquisiteness, with fantastic, mysterious themes related to zodiacs, astrology and tarot cards. His representative works include Brahma Upanishad, Heracles and Heroes of Sui and Tang Dynasties.
