Takada Akemi is an established animation and illustration artist. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Musashinokita High School and then Tama Art University, she joined an animation production company, launching a career in the animation industry. Her creative practice engages in illustration, anime/manga character design, decorative painting and jewelry design. She is the animation character designer of various popular works, including Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Urusei Yatsura, Magical Angel Creamy Mami, Maison Ikkoku, Orange Road, Mobile Police PATLABOR and many more.
